How to Enter.
From April 26, 2024 to May 17, 2024, eligible participants may participate in the sweepstake. Participants may enter the sweepstake by completing the survey that was sent to them by email on the 26th April and providing their email and agreement to participate on the respective. This prize is non-transferable. Participation in the sweepstake constitutes the participants’ acceptance of these terms and conditions. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THIS SWEEPSTAKE.
Selection of Winners.
Five (5) winners will be chosen at random from a drawing of all eligible Participant entries on June 3rd, 2024. The five (5) winner Participants will be notified via the email address submitted in the survey form.
Who can Enter.
Only the recently exited customers that received the survey link may participate.
Malwarebytes reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify participants for any reason, including if it is determined that one’s participation in the sweepstake is not lawful or prohibited or if Malwarebytes determines that the participant does not qualify.
Release.
ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THE SWEEPSTAKE RELEASE MALWAREBYTES AND ITS RESPECTIVE EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND SHAREHOLDERS (“RELEASED PARTIES”) FROM AND AGAINST ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, AND DAMAGES ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH THEIR PARTICIPATION OR INABILITY TO PARTICIPATE, ENTRY IN THE SWEEPSTAKE AND/OR ACCEPTANCE, RECEIPT, OWNERSHIP OR USE OF THE PRIZE AWARDED IN THE SWEEPSTAKE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, DAMAGE TO PROPERTY OR LOSS OF PROPERTY. BEFORE CLAIMING THEIR PRIZE, THE WINNER MUST EXECUTE AN AFFIDAVIT AND WAIVER VERIFYING THEIR ELIGIBILITY AND ACKNOWLEDGING (i) THEIR RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY TAXES INCURRED IN CONNECTION WITH THE PRIZE AWARDED AND (ii) THAT MALWAREBYTES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES CAUSED WHILE OPERATING PRIZES AWARDED FROM THE SWEEPSTAKE.
Limitation of liability.
RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CLAIMS, DAMAGES, EXPENSES, COSTS OR LOSSES TO ANY PERSON OR PROPERTY OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH (1) TYPOGRAPHICAL OR OTHER ERRORS IN THE PRINTING OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES; (2) TECHNICAL FAILURES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MALFUNCTIONS, INTERRUPTIONS OR DISCONNECTIONS OR DISCONNECTIONS IN PHONE LINES, HARDWARE, SOFTWARE OR FAILURE OF ANY EMAIL OR ENTRIES TO BE RECEIVED BY MALWAREBYTES DUE TO TECHNICAL PROBLEMS, HUMAN ERROR OR TRAFFIC CONGESTION, UNAVAILABLE NETWORK CONNECTIONS ON THE INTERNET OR ANY WEBSITE; (3) UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY TAMPERING WITH THE GIVEAWAY; (4) TECHNICAL OR HUMAN ERROR IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE PRIZE; OR (5) LATE, LOST, UNDELIVERABLE, DAMAGED OR STOLEN MAIL.
General.
The giveaway is governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California and the forum and venue for any dispute will be in the Northern District of California.
